Dear reader,
yesterday afternoon, by zapping on TV to get some information on ongoing regional elections, I came across a program recklessly RaiUno (I think, I have not talked ...) conducted Massimo Giletti (a guarantee of ... low level of transmission) on the apparitions of Medjugorje ... a nightmare!
I do not know if it was the worst run with that now imitates Giletti Vespa also poses and movements, the actions of the guests (even if someone was saved, but always on an emotional, spiritualistic, devotional) or the theme itself, for some reason chose to accompany the evening of Passion Sunday, in which the Church is called to commemorate the saving event of Christ's Passion. Maybe it will be seemed a right spiritual approach, but I still made more sense, having considered carefully the texts of the Gospels, we squabble (because obviously this was) on a marginal aspect of it, and still unrealistic and not determined, the devotion. The highlight, at least the few minutes I could stand before you turn off the TV, is was when a spectator (Young) launched in defense of the truth of the apparitions of the phrase "you can not rationally prove appearances because, as the Mass, is the Mystery of Faith!"
Maybe if someone would have had jurisdiction in matters of faith (and there was not one there) would have pointed out that the mystery of faith and the Passion, Death and Resurrection of Christ "and not the appearances of anyone (Madonna included) and that the term "Mystery" in theology does not mean "secret and inexplicable thing," but translates the concept of "memorial of salvation" (though maybe if you had chosen a less cryptic translation was not bad) . Then
I went to look for a reading made recently, which instead was driven by a completely different part of my spiritual reflection for snebbiare your mind so much littleness and unwind in what looks like a new direction taken by the theological reflection in context not only Catholic or Christian but inter-religious dialogue.
It is this article Adista , which gives you the link if you want to read it ...
A post-religious theology
you soon!
