Dear reader, you
point out two articles that I consider very important, because they bring forward the ideas that ultimately crowd my thoughts. We provide links to the Press finesettimana.org but the articles have appeared in Republic and The poster (two of the few Italian newspapers still readable):
Zagrebelsky: "The Church is against democracy"
The religion of the future for Hans Küng
I suggest that you point out in particular the distinction of Küng on "the Church believes" (as is proclaimed by our profession of Christian faith) and "believe in the church" (as demanded by the faithful from the hierarchy, or how many voluntarily do so for lack of responsibility staff).
Happy reading!
